Abstract

National and international documents have often highlighted the importance of educational guidance for young people and adults in a lifelong perspective to enable them to cope with constant changes with flexibility and adaptability. The research presented here investigated what are the success factors and critical aspects of two guidance models usually applied in organizations, the Business Model Canvas and the Bilan de competences, implemented in this case with secondary school students. The research aimed to determine the relationship between the adequacy of the models and tools used and the support towards a conscious educational or professional choice in the context of transition between school and labor market or university. The results confirmed the research aim and the potential and power of both models also in school context.
