Abstract

The National Institute for Public Policies Analysis (INAPP) has developed, through a teacher professional development research, an assessment dispositive for the last four key competences, specifically designed for students in Vocational Education and Training. The dispositive involves the administration of authentic tasks alongside various highly structured instruments, among which the Questionnaire on Learning Strategies (QSA) is included. The study has a twofold objective. On the one hand, it seeks to classify the 1,140 students in the convenience sample based on their perceived mastery of strategic competencies, as measured through the 14 scales of the QSA. On the other hand, it aims to identify the essential structural properties of an individualised educational dispositive, designed to enable a substantial proportion of students in a specific Vocational Training Centre to achieve proficiency in the same strategic competences.
