Learning Design Models for University Teaching. A pilot study.
Main Article Content
Abstract
International studies claim the need of the University to focus on didactics, not only on research. Before thinking of, and in order to think of innovation in didactics, we need to concentrate on designing learning of students. Literature on design is substantial, whereas design at University is de facto quite poor. After a thorough analysis of literature, a design framework is proposed where we can distinguish 5 phases and 29 dimensions of learning. The framework has been implemented in 4 pilot case studies at the University of Udine. The research shows that learning design is not usual, and makes one think that we should carry on with the research enlarging the number of case studies involved, suggesting training in this sense.
