Continuing vocational education and training: a systematic literature review
Main Article Content
Abstract
Professional training is a central topic in the contemporary sector debate, given the urgent need to expand and enhance skills to support and promote the digital and ecological transition in the labour market. Investing more and with greater determination in the training of human capital in life skills and soft skills is required, adopting strategies that align with the availability of companies and business objectives. The following contribution stems from an action research project, developed as part of a PON PhD program "Research and Innovation 2014-2020," which addresses missions 1 and 5 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). In order to build the most comprehensive conceptual framework possible, a systematic literature review was conducted to identify the main adult training models and theories in both the national and international scientific landscape.
