Abstract

The contribution presents a systematic review of the literature on pedagogical supervision in socio-educational contexts, analyzing 50 papers mainly related to the national context. Through the PRISMA protocol, the collected data were categorized, leading to the systematization of different models and approaches to supervision. The results show the benefits of supervision, such as professional development and the well-being of educational professionals. It emerges that further empirical research needs to be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of supervision, with the aim of supporting the dissemination of effective practices and improving work and continuing education.
