Abstract

The Provincial Centres for Adult Education provide literacy and Italian language learning courses (AALI), equivalent to the levels A1 and A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages, for a total duration of 200 hours. They represent a turning point for the education and the training of adults and play an important role in the inclusion of the migrant population. The paper focuses part of a mixed-methods research. It returns the voice of some teachers, protagonists of the CPIA context, reached through online interviews during 2021, with the aim of investigating the inclusive teaching and training offer of the AALI courses and the training needs of teachers and learners.
