Abstract

The phrase "Learning to be" contains the meaning of a learning method aimed at being and well-being, and which inextricably links the Lifelong and Lifewide dimensions.

The initial overview outlines a theoretical-documentary reference framework, on a national and international level, regarding adult education in the educational perspective of long lifewide learning, outlining a contextual anchoring of the topic. Starting from this framework and from the consideration of the complexity of the current bio-digital era or technosphere, the second section prefigures and critically discusses some possible resources and potential of training, catalyzing the conceptual core on the strongly existential and educational value of relational sustainability.

Finally, a methodological approach coming from Futures Studies is presented which represents a promising resource to fulfill the need to materialize an education that thinks and operates in new ways.
