Abstract

Starting from an intersectional perspective between gender, human mobility and employment as a basic analytical-conceptual device, this paper develops around the implications that these interdependent categories and phenomena have on migrant women’s paths to social, professional and personal fulfilment: placed in a broader context of female migrations, the discourse shifts to opportunities and strategies for reskilling and socio-economic inclusion that migrant women may find in Italy.
