Inclusion and life plan: a holistic approach to orientation

Abstract
This work proposes a reflection on the crucial issue of inclusion of people with disabilities at school and in the world of work, focusing on some key aspects. Initially, the laws and regulations that define the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities are briefly presented and the critical issues that may arise in this area are explored. Afterwards, the focus is on orientation as a key pedagogical topic and how the orientation process can be designed and implemented effectively for students with disabilities, taking into account their individual needs, abilities and interests. Finally, the article intends to offer an analysis of the challenges and opportunities related to inclusion, orientation and employment of people with disabilities, proposing a holistic pedagogical approach for achieving one's personal life project.
