Abstract

This contribution describes the exploratory research launched following the analysis of the data emerging from the TECO-D/Pedagogy experimental path in which the L-19 Degree Course of the University of Catania participated. Students’ test results led the authors to reflect on the contribution that the disciplines of the L-19 curriculum provide to the achievement of the core contents defined by the experimentation. Thanks to a specially created survey tool, faculty of the Degree course were asked to reflect on the contribution that their disciplines offer to the achievement of the final educational objectives (OFF). The results revealed that faculty are not always aware of the link between specific educational objectives (OFS), Dublin descriptors (DD) and methodologies used. What appears evident is the need to involve faculty in sharing processes both to strengthen the design for OFF and DD, and to gain awareness of the contribution that the different disciplines can offer in building the professional profile of educators.
