Main Article Content
Abstract
The issue of school drop out is one of the most discussed problem in the European education system. This condition has repercussions on the matter of the younger generation’s autono-my in these complex day and age. In today’s society it is necessary to offer to young people a chance to know and to get to know each other, to improve and to develop their own knowledge thanks to their basic skills, in order to face the tools close to society that sees (or should see) them as protagonists. The grant is willing to give an account of a research project sponsored in Prato, one of the most interesting area in Tuscany for socio-economic and demo-graphic changes. In this multicultural context, we need a deeper thinking about inclusive education and about the accompaniment stra-tegies for young people with social and cultural frailties, in order to let them finish the compul-sory education and to give them a greater indi-vidual and social awareness: these are essen-tial elements to deal with an increasingly com-plex labour market.
