Abstract

In the light of the growing attention of European and national policies on the importance of reconciling education and training pathways with high level sport, the present work intends to start a reflection on the design of the Transversal Competence Paths and Orientation for high level students-athletes of secondary school. Such pathways could represent a resource to enhance dual careers interventions, provided that the personalized PCTO project includes new training activities and experiences and not only the recognition of those related to sport practice.

Key words: school-work alternation, guidance, student-athletes, soft skill, dual career.
