Abstract





This article aims to reflect on the development of teacher data literacy, as a frontier of teacher professional development and presents an hypothetical learning pathway based on analysis, processing and interpretation data for pre e in- service teachers through the use of a common programming language Python. Therefore, a use case generated in this specific context will be examined, supporting the analysis of two issues: the role attributed to data literacy as part of a set of transversal professional skills and the possible methodologies for design of teachers training courses based on statistics and data analysis as professional skills useful for the acquisition of teacher data literacy.
