Allenatori, istruttori e coach: verso quale formazione?
Main Article Content
Abstract
Sport represents the third educational pillar, in addition to school and family. For this reason, the actors involved in the world of sport carry out educational functions, indirectly and often unconsciously. Therefore, to avoid that this educational action is approximate and left to chance, it is necessary to highlight the pedagogical knowledge necessary for these interlocutors. The pedagogical knowledge for education and training professionals is complex and articulated, and it is not at all obvious to outline adequate training processes, even for professionals who are traditionally associated with educational profiles (for example, teachers, educators, teachers). The speech becomes complicated for those who perform this role without the due awareness and intentionality. This is the case of coaches and instructors.
Profiling the education and training professional identity imposes challenges that can be overcome through theories and concepts from both the present and the past. Therefore, the foundations of effective educational action must be reformulated with a focus on the present but also in the past.
This article will address this topic, taking into account that widespread educational actions, today more than ever, are necessary. Sport engages the mind as well as the body, it teaches to overcome one’s limits and to relate adequately with others. Sport is an important experience in growth. Through sport, therefore, it is possible to carry out widespread training and didactic actions, but it is necessary to design and implement proper training actions for the personnel involved.
