Abstract
Reading is not only a cognitive process than happy to understand the outside world, but “capabilities” of learning to learn for lifelong learning, which supports the processes of co-construction of personal identity, enhancement of the subjects and their biographies, also in view of certification of skills.
The world of work, family and training that breaks up, breaks down, liquify, expropriation, requires the subject to incredible efforts to re-build every time, to reprogram. In this sense, the reading of his own narration becomes a central device in the formation of the adult self. Through the restatement and the capture of critical awareness of the power of the langua-ge tool and narrative threads, it triggers a pro-cess of change and learning that leads to a profound redefinition of an adult self, who is not afraid to “become”, but indeed he becomes himself “the becoming”.
