Abstract

An adult reading-lover had own first contact with books in the childhood. For this reason it is very important to approach children to books since the earliest age. School and family play a fundamental role for this: they can offer to chil-dren pleasant experiences with books. The reading aloud is a winner strategy to promote reading and to create a positive attitude to-wards it. It is on this kind of reading by adults to children that founds Born to read, a project for all the country that calls, among the others, also parents and libraries to promote and sup-port the love of reading.
