The City Barometer. The University's response to combine teaching, research, action

Abstract
The “citizens’ barometer” is a periodic survey on a set of elements chosen by the University of Seville, together with public organizations, using a framework of the participative research-action. The aims of this complex project arethree: 1. identifying what actions can unify theuniversity’s three missions (teaching, research,action); 2. identifying the objectives throughwhich academic research can be used to ad-dress some social issues; 3. building a networkbetween universities and the public sector. This research describes the indexes and ob-jectives of the citizens’ barometer by analysingthe case study of Seville.
