TLL (Teaching Learning Laboratory) and dialectical training in Didactic of university teachers: first steps towards the certification of pedagogical competence in Uniba (University of Bari).

Abstract

The need to support the quality of academic teaching is clearly recognised at international level. In particular, assessing and promoting the pedagogic competences of the university teachers appears a priority task, albeit complex, aimed to improve teaching and to increase learning outcomes. We are witnesses a delay in the appraisal processes of academic teaching in Italy, especially from a career and economic point of view. The University of Bari has started, on the basis of the needs analysis emerging from the research conducted by the ASDUNI inter-university network, the structuring of pilot training paths - personalized according to different target groups - for the professional development of university teachers.
