Abstract

The competences’ evaluation in the framework of lifelong learning approach is nowadays constantly growing, thanks mainly to the European Union’s boost. The need of evaluative processes in social services has grown with the economic crisis, the shrinkage in financial resources and the increasing social complexity and uncertainty. This research shows a participatory experience of competences mapping of the ‘networking’ practitioner within a social and sanitary service. Data collection was aimed at creating a professional competence “profile” as well as at designing an instrument for competences’ self-assessment (rubric), that can support workers’ reflectivity and professional growth.
