The issue of gender differences in education has been a central theme in educational research for a number of years. From their earliest years, stereotypes and prejudices continue to hamper girls' educational and professional choices, preventing them from seeing themselves in roles other than those that culture has always labelled as feminine. Hence the need for a transformative orientation action aimed at strengthening the gender dimension and providing female students with the necessary tools to critically understand reality, build their own identity and realise their own life project.
