Building the research function in social health education

An experimental university internship with lonely elderly, in times of pandemic emergency

Abstract

In order to have educational characteristics, helping relationship in the social-health field, is required to showcase reflexivity in action. The daily practice to avoid the risks of stagnation should have spaces for research in the situation capable of describing, evaluate and disseminate the results of the interventions. This contribution presents a professionalizing university training experience, that has produced significant results - precisely during the pandemic emergency - in the direction of building research skills in social health education.
