Abstract

This contribution highlights the chance for a renewed effort to create student-centered university training, aimed at building relational skills and lifelong learning. Today this seems most urgent taking into account the important psychological consequences given by the Covid-19 pandemic. Through some phenomenological, interactionist constructs and research data, it is also shown how the Person-Centered Approach can serve as an effective starting point and prerequisite for the helping professions.
