Right to education: right to basic school?

Abstract

The paper reviews recent significant data con-cerning international policies to promote and to monitor the right to education. In this field it addresses priorities and investments in the past twenty-five years paying specific attention to the role of the United Nations and of civil society’s organisations who claim the impor-tance of approaching the right to education avoiding reductionist approaches.
