Since 2006 a five-years-long debate on adult education has followed the ministerial decree 455/1997 and all the academic, pedagogic and methodological discussion before and around it. The themes of this debate have been mainly administrative and juridicial, for example the autonomy of adult learning, conferred trough the creation of the CPIA (provincial centres for Adult education), a new didactic organization targeted to the specific need of the adult lear-ners, the importance of the CPIA in teaching, learning and attesting the skills pertaining to Italian as a foreign language. The report entit-led “Strategies of intervention for the lifelong learning services and the organization of local lifelong learning networks” breeds new reflec-tions on the relations between Adult education and national lifelong learning policies.Downloads
